Doug France in Hollywood

Rams offensive lineman Doug France, according to IMDB, had several roles in movies and television.

 In 1979, in the fine film North Dallas Forty he landed the role of  Alcie Weeks, an All-Pro defensive tackle:


In on the TV series  1981 B.J. and the Bear he was a prison guard Football Player along with a few other NFL players.




Also in 1981 in the series The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo he played a Bodyguard

The next year  in The Greatest American Hero he was Caprice, a football player





Finally, in 1984, he was Mean Mick Matthews, a heavy who was disguised as a monk that helped teh stars of the show out of a jam.
