Everybody's All-American (1988)
Based on a great novel by Frank DeFord, Everybody's All-American is a pretty good football movie. Though there are some continuity issues with uniforms and timelines, it is fairly true to the novel.

Ernie Ladd in Hollywood
Ernie Ladd was a great defensive tackle who graduated to show business—wrestling. But in 1998 he appeared as a wrestling manager in "That 70s' Show" and it remains his only Hollywood credit.
